SPEECH RECOGNITION WINS OVER RADIOLOGISTS IN UNITED KINGDOM AND IRELAND

London and Sheffield – United Kingdom, 10 June 2004 – Radiologists in the UK and Ireland are replacing their old analogue dictation devices with the cutting edge workflow speech recognition system MediSpeech® , capable to integrate in their Radiology system and Picture Archive Communication System. Radiologists are specially interested at the new telephony solution from MediSpeech® . This is already mentioned as the best solution in the world for the medical profession.

To support and inform the radiologist, the European market leader in integration of digital dictation and speech recognition “G2 Speech”, was at the UK Radiological Congress 2004. At the UKRC, the latest release of MediSpeech®  was shown with a new telephony solution and latest integration capabilities. By using a microphone, digital voice recorder or telephone the radiologist can dictate wherever he wants: at his report station, at home or in the car. This already works in many hospitals in the Netherlands.

Radiologists are interested to work with the G2 Speech award-winning MediSpeech®  solution.
