The money we save by doing it this way will be donated to the Maldah Gambia Foundation. The Maladah Gambia foundation aims to provide education to the children of the Gambian inlands. To achieve this goal local inhabitants are supported to build their own schools and manufacture their own school furniture. This also benefits and stimulates local employment. The Maladah Gambia foundation has been in existence for 3 years. In the previous years a lot of good work has been done, thanks to the support of G2 Speech. In 2005 the foundation started with some primary classes in a former rural house, which now gives education to 100 children. In the spring of 2008 the first phase of the new school should be completed. This will be a building with 10 classrooms, a library and a small office.
