What this means for G2 Speech
Being included in this framework validates our position as a trusted provider of AI-driven speech solutions tailored for the healthcare sector. Our offerings, such as SpeechAmbient, SpeechCursor, and SpeechReport, are designed to streamline clinical workflows, reduce clinician burnout, and accelerate documentation processes.
Aligning with our mission to empower healthcare professionals by transforming clinical documentation through advanced speech technology, it also boosts our visibility within the NHS and opens doors for collaboration with more NHS trusts across the UK.
Henry Gallagher, Managing Director at G2 Speech, said: “Being once again appointed to the NHS SBS framework - which we have been consistently for over 10 years now - is evidence of G2 Speech’s expertise, capabilities and dedication in the speech recognition field. We are passionate about helping NHS organisations use AI-driven speech technology to streamline clinical workflows, reduce administrative burden, and ultimately improve patient care. Our team continues to deliver innovative, reliable solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity across the NHS. We’re proud to be part of this framework, which makes it easier for trusts to access the technology and support they need."
Phil Wood, Principal Category Manager at NHS SBS, added: “The Digital Dictation, Speech Recognition and Outsourced Transcription 2 Framework Agreement provide solutions which are designed to support key NHS priorities to increase day-to-day operational efficiencies and support the reduction in wait lists. The scope of the lots was designed to allow for the adoption of emerging technology as the framework agreement matures, and as new technology within speech recognition is made available. Developments and innovations within the market are already adopting AI to take digitisation one step further and enable automated processes to go from the speech of a clinician and automatically populate patient letters or update patient records. The framework agreement allows for the introduction of new technologies during its lifecycle, which will allow the framework agreement to make the most of these exciting new developments.”
