Building trust through technology: G2 Speech at the Clinisys Customer Summit UK
The G2 Speech team joined pathology and healthcare technology leaders at the Clinisys Customer Summit UKheld at The Belfry in Birmingham. The event provided an excellent opportunity to connect with NHS partners, laboratory professionals, and Clinisys users to explore how digital innovation continues to transform diagnostics.
This year’s summit placed strong emphasis on cybersecurity and digital resilience, with sessions highlighting data protection, business continuity, and the importance of secure integration across clinical systems. These priorities align closely with the NHS 10-year plan, which calls for secure, connected, and efficient digital infrastructures across diagnostics and pathology networks.
While much of our time was spent on the stand, conversations throughout the day reflected a clear shift toward department-specific, workflow-driven solutions. Pathology teams are looking for technology that supports real clinical tasks, particularly in sterile environments where hands-free working is vital.
Teams from across the UK raised similar challenges: a need for hands-free dictation during cut-up workflows, and frustration with current systems that lack flexibility or charge extra for essential functionality. These discussions reinforced the growing demand for speech-enabled solutions that not only integrate seamlessly with existing systems but also adapt to the operational realities of modern laboratories.
We were also pleased to meet Mike Langford (Diagnxia), who presented at the event. Diagnxia’s rapid growth in outsourced pathology reflects the sector’s increasing appetite for scalable, digital-first services, and it was encouraging to see genuine interest in how G2 Speech technology could support that journey.
Integration remained a recurring theme. Many departments are struggling with systems that don’t reflect how they work day-to-day.
