As Christmas is around the corner, we at G2 Speech have been gathering boxes as part of this year’s Christmas charity appeal. This years appeal saw boxes of gifts raised for children in less fortunate countries as part of the Samaritan’s Operation Christmas Child Appeal, UK and the Team Hope Appeal, Ireland.

Employees across the company put together small shoeboxes that consisted of: toys, hygiene products and school supplies. We’ve had all sorts of donations including princess gifts for girls and car themed gifts for boys. We’ve also had teddies, balls, sweets, toothbrushes, pencil crayons and more donated as gifts.
As well as donations from staff, we’ve received donations from the generous employees of companies based in our Leeds office building. We’re overwhelmed with what’s been donated.
Operation Christmas Child is a fantastic initiative supporting children across the world. Since 1990, more than 124 million boys and girls in over 150 countries have received shoebox gifts from Operation Christmas Child.

Team Hope is equally a brilliant initiative in Ireland, working with children and their families in communities across Eastern Europe, former Soviet Union and Africa.
Over the past week we’ve made our first drop offs.
